Big block vs small block rear end question

Is there any difference between a big block and small block rear end other than the side yokes and code?

As far as I know, the internals are all the same.

That's my understanding too? If you move out further, the half shafts were shot peened for BB cars for relieve stresses - but otherwise identical.
