Well, I like Miatas and appreciate how Mazda has stayed true to its original vision. And glad it sells enough to stay in production.
BUT, I really don't care for this Miata at any level. It has not been "transformed" into a Vette. I am sure it took a lot of work. But to me it looks cartoonish. But if the owner loves it, that is what matters.

I like it. Tastefully done. Except I'd change the emblem on the front to a C1 flag

I wonder if he wanted to park on the grounds at Carlisle if they would let him in?
Maybe they should make that an exhibit at the show? All the non-corvette cars made to look like corvettes. Call it the 'Envious Exhibit'.

It Reminds Me
......many years ago when I taught and coached in Oregon we played a couple of charity Basketball games against ex-Portland Trailblazers with local TV and Radio there.....after one game I had three or four little kids ask for my autograph; the point being other people actually aspired to be around ME...well, I got that same rush when someone decided to mimic MY CAR......as Vin Diesel said in XXX, "Geez, it was only a Vette."

I don't hate it. The Miata (especially the newest version) is actually not a bad little car. No Corvette, to be sure, but they don't pretend to be. OK, well, maybe THIS one does. I can't see doing this myself, enjoy the car for what it is . . . but to each their own. We should just appreciate the flattery.
P.S. - It looks more like the tarted-up version of Pixar's "Lightning McQueen" in "Cars" . . .

I'm sure it was a lot of hard work and I commend that. It does look well done. I just don't think it looks any more real than some of those golf cart conversions.

IF someone is trying to customize their Miata, they did a nice job. If their trying to say it looks like a 57 Vette, they failed..... completely.
