Can someone explain the difference in the top mounting pad for two original 64 B radiators. See a pic if I can upload.
See the different width. FWIW, one did come from and AC car (don't know which one).
No repop. They are much older than that. One came on my 64 roadster, one on a 64 air coupe w/ 365HP. Just don't remember which one. Back then you could get one across the counter at the dealership, but the date would be wrong.

Gm made the wide 2" bracket for all 63's and most 64's and then switched to the 1" wide one. No real reason, just what they did.
Thanks Tom. I just received from you 2 radiators (restoration) last evening, 63C and 64B. Haven't opened them, but which mount would they have? I can't see that either would make a difference. Just curious and the garage is too cold to go out and open the boxes!
