I have the original Uniroyal whitewall spare from my 65 that I'll sell for a little less than this one.

I bless my lucky stars every time I see something like this that I have no interest in playing this game.

For a couple of years, Coker was reproducing the Firestone SS Redline without DOT markings. They eventually had to stop and add the DOT logos. Buyers need to keep this in mind.

Also I have seen (and NCRS judged) reproduction Goodyear redlines without DOT markings...........the owner had used razor blades to remove the DOT info and then blended it in with a hot iron. This was at the NCRS Nationals.

Anything is possible...............a word of caution when shopping.

There are still many obvious differences between this beautiful original tire vs. even the reproduction without the DOT code. Anyone how is knowledgeable can easily tell real vs. repo. I would not be the least bit surprised if it sells.

Many of us don't have the $$$$$$$$to buy this tire just for show.......but some do.
