Barris' cars are definitely an acquired taste. I think.

You'd have to have documentation and lots of good solid proof. The XP700 nose was available from ACME and put on many cars. There was a bronze one in the Orlando area about 15 years ago. The old guy who had it had owned the car for along time and IIRC, he had put the nose on long ago.

Where are you gong to find one of those. Would've been a lot better if they hadn't changed the motor, but still a pretty easy return to original. JMO.
Lets see, $139,000.00 for the car.
New nose and rear quarters, new 58 hood, repaint, engine and misc.
You are now upside down with a $175,000.00 non original 58.....

I Agree..

It has no value "imho" except as a Barris collectable...
If that makes it valuable...or a collectable??

Perhaps to the guy whom purchased the Batmobile, but to me, not a car I would own.
