Default 3916321 CE 4 Bolt Main Block Dated H-19-7

I have a CE Block that I have some questions on. Could this block be used in a 1967 Vette as a reproduction if the original blew up? Second, if I wanted to build back as a 427 435 HP, what intake, heads, and carb should I use. Also, would the 3917215 heads work for this block if it was not 435 hp.

Thanks,

Darrin.

----435 hp used the rectangular 3x2 intake manifold 3894374.

-----center carb number is list 3660, model 2300c, part number 3902355ev.

----front an rear carb numbers are list 3659, model 2300, part number 3902353eu.

Then you need to determine what dates are correct for your car and find these one month and not more than six months before your car's assembly date

also, would the 3917215 heads work for this block if it was not 435 hp.
---no, you will need the 3904391 heads unless you have a very late production car, then 3919840 heads. Again, you need to know your cars assembly date. You could also use the 3904392 aluminum heads for an l89 configuration.

You also need correct cam, lifters, push rods, springs, pistons, cam shaft, transistorized distributor/amp/harness, tri power ignition shielding, f 41 suspension, properly code rear end, and a few other items.

Is/was your vette a 427/435

thanks,

darrin.

Thanks. No sir. I do not have a 427/435HP Vette. Do you know what heads came with the L88 vette? I have a CE 850 Holley Carb I believe L88 and four barrell aluminum intake CE for L88. Was wanting to use the correct heads for that intake? Would that be the 391 or 840? I believe my book shows they only made 20 L88's. Not sure if that is correct.

Thanks,

Darrin.

L88 used the aluminum 392 heads listed above, same as the L89.
