427SIXPACK I use to live in amityville. My good friend still lives there. He has a 69 Rally Sprort convert. Camaro Gold with black strips. He has had this car since we were 15 yr's old. I'm wondering if you ever seen it at the car shows.?

Nice show and turnout!
I use to work with a silk screener who printed t-shirts for my business back in the early 80's. Her husband was Jonh Betts of McBetts Racing. He built me a great 350/325 hp for my 69 Impala vert. He had a great shop. Did you by chance know him or know of his shop? They were mostly into oval track cars. Not to hijack your thread, but the location made me think of him. I think he was on Northern Blvd.
BTW, your Vette looks gorgeous!

Mc Betts has built several motors for me & my toys, for both my car & my speed boat. They are still around & build / sponsor many race cars at Riverhead raceway here on the island...........great quality & craftsmanship. Though local we also have 2 other really big names in motors / rebuilding Shafiroff & Jack Merkel ...... the competion is tough !!!

BTW thanks for the compliments...........many hours of love, patience & hard work !!!
