Web site for filler cap.

http://shop1.actinicexpress.co.uk/sh...el_Filler_Caps.
Aston fuel filler cap 2 3/4

Added a stant instant filler cap to make it functional, works pretty good. I prefer the chrome look.
Attaches with 3 set screws from the bottom, just cut out the hole where the emblem was. All total with US conversion rate and the stant cap was right at $100.00

No its not the real thing, works for me. Looks different.

Can you also fill by lifting the original gas door? Not for me.

Yet, I think you may have come up with a solution for me. Use the Slant capless filler with the Mustagalia LeMan's cap. I always liked the look of the Mustanglia cap. But not with lifting/removing two caps to fill with gas. Seemed too fake/ricey to me. This way only one cap. Thanks.

My first setup was functional im now modifying it so when you lift the lemans filler theres a small gas cap inside you remove.I modified the factory large fill down to a smaller newer style cap(fast fill style)same as mod75 but my lemans is bolted to body and original is reglassed in..Ill take pics when im done, its been too hot out there to work on it last few days.

I asked in Advance Auto about this and online, nobody could answer my question, will it fit.

They let me try it out, screws on perfectly, only other question was is it vented or non-vented? I Never thought of asking that.
Guess it would depend on what year vette we are working on.
Mine is a 75 and has the fuel tank bladder with closed emission system i believe.

Cap does not say vented or non-vented. First cap i bought i slit the rubber seal to make sure it would vent. I have seen a collapsed fuel tank, not pretty.

Second cap is just stock, works ok, on there for 6 - 7 months.

Thanks!! For $20 I'll give it a try. Why not.

Then go with a Mustaglia Lemans cap. It will look good with my side pipes.

I'd like to see your pics. Personally, I don't like the look of that finger indent after installing the Mustaglia LeMans cap. But I'm reluctant to fiberglass it in even though I know it would look better. Hard to undo a change like that. Maybe a future owner might call me Bubba.

The pic in the first post looks like it has an extension that covers the hole. Where did that one come from?

So would you consider doing any others? I liked your old BONSPEED wheels a lot but those new ones are killer. Some of the best ever for a race car theme IMO. Did you need to paint the letters on those tires?
