Default Caliper Bolt Torque specs

I rebuilt my calipers with O-rings and my Haynes manual has the torque specs for the caliper half bolts as:

1974 and prior
130 ft/lb
1975 and up
130 ft/lb front
60 ft/lb rear

Since I was working on my '74 I was trying to torque to 130 ft/lb on the rear and the first bolt went OK but the second bolt snapped.

Does anyone know the bolt size for the caliper halves on a '74? Since my calipers already had stainless steel sleeves they may be newer. The the bolts on mine are 7/16 - 20 x 2 1/2 inch long.

Should I torque the new bolts I bought to 60 ft/lb?

130# on a 7/16 bolt? use some common sense. correct bolt torque is #130 front and #60 rear.

I thought it sounded high but I had it in black on white right in front of me. I guess you can't believe everything you read. Thanks.
