Our Corvette Club Show'n Shine
G'day All,
Just thought I would share some photos from our annual club show'n shine here in Brisbane
last Sunday called, the Corvette Classic. We had 66 corvettes and well
over one thousand people come to see the cars on display, enjoy!
This ZR1 is featured at the Bowling Green National Corvette Museum as the first ZR1 to come to Australia. It is still LHD and has only 9000km's(5600 miles) on the clock.
Unfortunately my car was not there as its in the process of receiving new paint. This will be the subject of a future post.

Great looking cars. Looks like it was a good day for a car show!

Thank you for the pics. I very much enjoyed them. The twin 1971s were quite something.
You will have to pardon my ignorance of things geographic but is it not winter there?

Excellent pictures. There were some very nice Vettes. Cudo's to the photog. Nice to see so many nice Vettes in one place. This sort of got me interested in going to a big show in Long Beach Cali tomorrow. I'm not feeling well but maybe. Thanks for uploading. I only need a volunteer to wash her.

It's Monarco Orange.
Yes it is winter here, but Brisbane has a semi tropical climate, probably very much like Florida or south'n Cali. We can have nights down to below freezing in winter and then have days to 22deg C.

That sounds like our October. Yesterday was 35*C (95*F) here and that's a bit much for me. The Corvette stayed in the garage. I don't know how people in places like Florida and Texas stand days and days of 100*F+ heat.
