Default 1970 Corvette 350 Valve Covers

Which valve covers are correct for a 1970 350 300 hp base engine? Painted orange or aluminum?

You bet, aluminum for the L-46 and LT-1. Steel orange guys for the base 350 and chromers for the 454.
