Default rust

Is there a chemical that can lift rust off of metal. I'm not worried about pitting.
Thanks,
zoot

What is it that you want to remove rust from?

I soak nuts, bolts, and other small stuff in heated vinegar, but there are many chemicals like Ospho, depending on your application.

Interesting product. But a blast cabinet is faster.

Evaporust is great. It does an excellent job of lifting away all the rust without damaging your part. My only complaint is that it gets used up fairly quickly. I have been meaning to try and run it through a micron filter, but have yet to do so. I think this would help restore the solutions effectiveness.

I need a cabinet 16 feet long!

Just picking!

I'll get a 36" wide "mini" blasting cabinet and modify each end for longer parts.....like you said--they just do a great/fast job.
