looks great!
how was the fit for the 6x9s in that box? I have the same box and it seems the holes were cut a little too big. I had a hard time mounting the two sets of 6x9s I tried, and they aren't completely sealed from air leaks.

what head unit are you using?

Ditto on the 6x9 holes. My speakers aren't completely sealed either. They do sound very good though.

My head unit is a JVC Arsenal KD-AR755. Nothing fancy. No Bluetooth etc.

Thanks for the compliment.

You can't beat the sound of 6x9s in a sealed box. The setup we have is perfect for ours cars.
I heard the infinity 6x9s are oversized, so I might try a set of those.

My left speaker sealed up better than the right, and I I fade right to left I can hear the difference in sound.

good, inexpensive way to try and seal the edges. just make sure you cut the rear off, otherwise they won't let the speakers move enough air.

I did something very similar - 6.5" kickers in the kick panels. I also have 4x6 in the dash, and a 10" sub in the back.

The kick panels are set as the "rear" speakers, and I tune the radio to push more sound out of them than the dash.
