I made a new stainless steel reed valve for my Campbell Hausfeld 2-cylinder air compressor. Since I use my air compressor for my '71 every day I figured its a part of my '71. I have a new valve plate and piston rings coming so when the new parts arrive I'll "refresh" my old compressor to make it almost as good as new. Every C3 owner needs a decent air compressor..................

Replaced the t-top weather-striping, looking forward to the first rain to see if it stops the water leaks

Swapped the rear leaf spring bolts with the 10" ones from VB&P. Lowered the back end about 2 inches, sits right where I want it. Looks a lot better.

Also bought new grade 8 hardware for the bell housing for when the new motor comes in.

Took the '81 out for a shakedown after installing a new set of headers. Watched the sun come up during the cruise.

Pulled the trigger about 5 minutes ago and ordered some new t-top stripping... I had an encounter and found that no, it does not seal. All I could do was laugh at myself!

Making drawings for a ram air setup for my '71 big block. I'll take pictures once I get started and share them with you. It'll drop the air inlet temperature 100 degrees in the dead of summer.

I removed the alternator, got it rebuilt and re-installed. On the down side I found the positive battery cable clamp was broken. A job for another day.

Installed my new Sanden Compressor and two water shut of valves for the heater core. Getting ready to finish my ac install. It's been 99 or 100 around here lately.

Where did you get the shut offs from? I have had mine for 3 years now but are rather large and would like to replace them with something like yours

Drove it to work, washed it after lunch, and on the way home the alternator died. Installed new alternator. All in a day of C3 ownership.
