I've been rebuilding everyone else suspension; today I disassembled the rear suspension on my 72 LT1. Waiting for the off set trailing arms with coil overs from Vansteel and the front. When I finish it will have full coil overs. Installed a larger dia. front sway bar (1")

My first try make the midsection nice again the former owners really made it look terrible. Blastered and found a good paint not to shiny and can stands some rough handling. Not sure if I will use a fine grinding paper on the text yet..........

Default Finally...

Yeah, I know, another red corvette. Had to keep it red and freshen it up a bit.

Changing a throttle cable on my '73 to a later gen version to better work with my 700R4 conversion.

Jeeze, getting that top bolt in the pedal bracket out (with the driver's side dash panel still in place) was next to impossible.

Have a better plan in the works for reassembly.... hopefully.

Just finished installing mine! Not a bad job. Still trying to figure out the wiper vacuum changes. BTW - works GREAT!

I hope its an easy install. I'm ready to have headlights that work properly and fast, do you have any pics of your install?

I never seem to remember to take pictures when I'm working on it. I did run into one problem - my AC drier was interfering with the bracket on the passenger side so I switched sides to move them toward the center. Just barely cleared the hood, but it works!

I didn't do anything with it today, but last night, I got it out after getting home and when for a short drive. I've started a new philosophy this year, drive it every week for at least 10 miles. It seems almost all the ills it has had recently are the results of sitting too long at a time. So I'm determined to get a few miles each week just to keep all of it running like it should.

Headlights are still running slow, but the sudden and random drops to discharge seem to have begun to go away. I can't find any shorts, and I think it could be the regulator not regulating correctly or some bad contact in the alternator or circuit.
