Default Spray paint bumpers

So here's my problem my front and rear bumpers are faded and dull and I am wanting to freshen them up a bit. They have been spray painted in the past and the color matches perfectly but they didn't clear it so now it's starting to get faded and such. The guy we got it from said he used duplicolor perfect match. But duplicolor only goes back to like 2000 and I was wondering if there was another color that was close that had a different code. I have the 81 beige and dark bronze any help would be greatly appreciated

Haha I didn't notice that earlier, looks like a typo since there is a second bark blue metallic further down.

Any auto body supply shop will mix paint and put it in a spray can for you. You'll end up with a better quality paint as well.

I have used their paint before on my wife's Honda to spray a new bumper, it sprayed nice and was a perfect match.

I will write this...buying and aerosol paint and using it will only work for short time. The sun will kill it if it is exposed in the sun all the time.

Mixing paint from an automotive paint store and having them put it in an aerosol can is better...but that is if the color matches to your liking. BUT...even if you CLEAR it...you have to apply a clear that will hold up against the UV's of the sun. Which often times means that it needs to be shot through a paint gun and compressed air.

No way around it if you are looking for a long hold out ....and YES...I am quite aware about the old style lacquer paint....which is not like today's current paint technology....but even if a aerosol clear is applied...it may take numerous coats to be able to hold up...and it may have problems when applied numerous times.
