Just got the TPI taken off the '69 & back together in time for the Duck Drags last weekend. I put a Performer & Holley DP. Plan this winter on getting a set of heads, headers/sidepipes & a cam to bump up the Goodwrench 260hp rating. Car ran a 15.5 @ 89 mph which to me is pretty good with 7.9 compression SB & the 3.36 hwy gears.

Not too many have the opportunity to run their car down the 1/4mile. Reads like you had a great time.

If you get back to the track in Oct or Nov with much cooler air you might take 3 tenths off your ET with no changes to the car.
