Wow, there's so much stuff to like here! I had to wipe the drool off of my keyboard before I could type. Mine are all Chevy but I love the variety of other makes too.

I`m digging all the 4 bay and more wide garages! Mine`s technicaly 2 1/2 wide and 2 deep, but I stuff 4 in there, (with the goat in front of the Grand Prix), but I`d LOVE to have it wider. Some AWESOME stuff here, I agree!

My reaction, exactly. Glad he said the garage door is secure. I've never experienced one that came down accidentally, but, I'd be too nervous about leaving it like that anyway to "temp" fate.

Hi rrkt,
It's a pretty close match to the original Mille Miglia Red.
The white walls and fluorescent lighting really plays havoc with the color and the camera.
Here's an outdoor pic that's a bit more realistic and less dramatic.
Regards,
Alan

Thank you Alan. I looked a little more orange in the other picture.

Believe it or not, it's possible to like the look of those cars without having it have anything to do with chrome bumper cars or their owners. Some of us have actually owned both.

I've had cars fall off jacks, knock off wheels fall off and rear springs fail and impale themselves in the ground while driving and so many other crazy things I expect the worst. That includes hearing a grage door spring just break and explode in my garage once, sounded like a bomb went off.

Your Grand Prix was one of the cars I had in mind when I made my comment- always loved the styling on those!

The garage door spring breaking happened to me once too. It did sound like a bomb went off. Unfortunately for me, it hit the fender of the 58 and put a chip in it about as big as your thumb nail. Installed those safety cables after that. Closing the barn door, etc. etc.

Eye of the beholder I guess. Chrome gives a much sharper line.
