Default Battery Tender for 1969 Corvette

I just got a battery tender for a 1969 Stingray and was wondering what the best way to hook it up is. The battery is behind the driver's seat. The battery tender comes with alligator clips and quick connect ring terminal harness. I'd like to use the ring terminal if possible.

I clip my positive lead at the horn relay and ground on the alternator bolt.
I used the ring terminals or clipped to the battery for several years but if my tops are behind the seat it gets combersom.

If your Battery Tender didn't come with one, these can be purchased from any vendor that carries the Battery Tender for less than $10

I've found this to be the easiest connection on the C3 since the battery is inside the car. I do use the ring terminal connector under the hood on the C4 and C5. flyeri's use of the horn relay should also work however.

Good luck... GUSTO
