WTB: '68 Convertible top pin receiver blocks (attach to windshield corner moldings).
Need for '68 Corvette convertible:
Anybody out there have a passenger's side receiver block for the convertible top alignment pins? They attach to the windshield corner moldings for the convertible top guide pins to slide into. Apparently, these were used for early '68's. They attach to the windshield corner moldings for the convertible top guide pins to slide into. After late '68, Chevy went to a one piece molding that integrated the receiver block and the molding into one piece.
If anyone has the passenger's side available for sale, or if you have a left and right pair that you don't want to split up, I'd be interested in that as well.

Hi
Very difficult to find.
There is a guy selling those on E-Bay once in a while.
Those are apparently reproduction.
I bought a set and they look fine, just like the originals.
Expensive , around 200 USD the pair.
Check the surge function for this. You might find the E-Bay seller's name ( Missibit or so ?? )

I have been told that late 68 they made a change, going to the 1 peice one that the
69 and up use. The only diff. is that you have to remove the windshield to screw in the
other screws on the windshield. I have purchased the 69 from paragon and they told me
that the 69 will interchange with the 68. cost $50 ea. I have seen 1 vette recently 68
conv. with the 69 1 pc on his. he said that they were on it when he purchased the car.
good luck
