fs/late79-82 power antenna
This is a mint, used power antenna, part no/date correct for 79.
Looks to have been removed from a low mile 79. Insides and mast are like new
Will also fit 80-82, but like I said correct numbers/date for 79
Replaced the nylon cable inside and the harness was cut so replaced. There IS a correct plug on it, not pictured.
Includes the chrome bezel.
$195 plus shipping.

Wow KapsSA, that is a nice looking antenna! I know the 78s are rare to find in good condition but I don't think I've ever seen a 79 antenna that nice. On that note I don't think I've seen one ever!

I'm interested in the 79 power antenna to replace the after market version currently in my 79 for NCRS judging purposes. I am also missing the original mounting bracket and was wondering if you have one to go with the antenna.

Yes, I have the lower bracket I'd throw in.
And if your harness is chopped up I have a complete radio/fuse panel to antenna harness with relay available for a little more $.
Also have a Corvette correct co-ax cable.

I have a second antenna pretty much identical to the one pictured above but with a bolt on ground bracket and my fabricated upper end where it contacts the underside of the fiberglass fender.
NOS but checked out and with a new nylon cable just to be safe
$SOLD...... plus shipping.
Pics if any interest.

ANTENNA and L bracket only has been SOLD. Accessories still available.
This is the NOS antenna with a NEW nylon cable installed.
Compare to the original antenna at the top of the page and you'll see how the ground bracket on the mast tube is screwed on.
Chrome fender "grommet" is not "correct" for Corvette but will work the same. Can usually find one on ebay.
Both the wiring harnesses are NOS, the orange and yellow one has been modified to work with the Corvette. At the left of the pic you'll see a harness as supplied over the counter with a timer in it. Timer seems to be a problem with operation so I remove it(see https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-question.html )
Antenna co-ax cable is nos as is the relay. Lower bracket is nice used as is the rubber harness grommet and the short antenna co-ax extension.
This is the end piece similar to an original that I install in place of the "pronged" one(that digs into underside of a STEEL fender to accomplish the ground).

The antenna in posts 9/12 has been sold.
Antenna at the top, post 1 is still available. Offers?
I still also have several wire harnesses still available as pictured in post 12.
