I already had a similar thread about this but now I'm at a roadblock. I have installed amy NOS power antenna in my 82 but it's just hooking up the wires. After going through the relay it's basically 4 hook ups, 12V keyed, 12V batt, ground and the radio wire. But that's where it gets tricky, I have a Kenwood deck in the car and they list a solid blue wire for a power antenna source but when hooked up it doesn't work?? I called Kenwood's tech line and they were no help. Now if you ground that wire that's for the radio the antenna will work so it's a reversing ground and that's where I'm now lost and don't know what to do????
Lose the timer.
Corvettes didn't use it and for the life of me I can't figure out the purpose of it!
The plug that goes into the relay has 4 wires, orange, 2 blacks and I think green.
Keep the orange, keep the black ground.
Clip the second black and cut the green leaving enough to splice onto it.
Clip the yellow from the timer and splice it to the green at the plug.
Eliminate the red "ignition circuit", not necessary.
You'll end up with orange going to "batt" terminal, black ground, and the yellow spliced to the green will go to your radio antenna lead.

Perfect!! It worked
Now just to confirm is this the correct bezel mount?
Correct bezel but you shouldn't need the black spacer(unless the hole was hogged out)
It doesn't need to be real tight on the paint, just maybe a touch beyond snug.
Ok the gasket that came with the bezel squeezed out as I was tightening so this was my next option. I will order another one and not not tighten it so much. The hole is still fine.
I don't feel like paying $25 for a foam gasket and was looking at pictures on the internet and noticed that they normally don't come with a gasket. So should there be a gasket underneath or not??
