5 speed Doug Nash Transmission Linkage
I am converting my car back to manual and found a 5 speed doug nash race tranny. The guy has the shifter but I need to buy the linkage. Anyone here have one they want to get rid of, or know where to find one new?
Also wondering if anyone has pics of their transmission linkage that you could post(installed in the car or not) so I can get an idea of how everything goes.
any help here would be much appreciated!!!

Summit or Jegs will have the shifter with rods. Made by Long. Maybe long can sell you just the rods.

Long makes a killer shifter.
Give them a call.
So you're getting a crashbox version with no synchros?

To be honest, I'm not even sure what the difference is between the "race" version and the street tranny. Just trying to get my car back on the road (been in my garage for the last year), and this tranny was the first to catch my eye. Hopefully the setup will work.
I know he said it pops out of gear in 5th, so I'm going to have someone look at it and fix that.

They look similar, but the race ones have no synchros and the gears are straight cut. Some even had torsion bars on countershaft to help with high HP.
The street ones have synchros, and gears are helical cut (same as an M-22).
You can get serial number off the top and call Richmond (they bought Doug Nash). They can tell you what it is for sure. Or point you to who can. There's a place in New York called S&K Speed that deals with them all the time for Richmond. I think their number is 631-957-9427. Ask for Brian.

Is the shifter a Hurst or the Long shifter? What did you do about a reverse light switch?
