how much does a C3 body weigh?

how much does a C3 body weigh?
Looking at an electric hoist.wondering what a C3 body weighs for doing a body lift.I know 4 guys could pick it up.but thats deceiving.

A C2 conv. body incl. 82 lbs. of steel birdcage 397 lbs., a reduction from C1. As you probably know Duntov was very weight concious which is as it should be for a sports car. C1 body (conv. obviously) weight was quoted as 405 lb. probably 61 or 62. Further the C1 & C2 body weights were ready to install on assembly line.
I assume you know C2 & C3 are closely related. There have been topics that the forum should have been C1, C2&3.
Later C3 models have reinforcements in doors & heavier bumpers so weight would be higher.

I agree with Gary that those are the numbers being circulated around. I'm not aware of anyone who has actually measured theirs to come up with an actual weight. When I pulled mine off, I did all the strap and lift location choices assuming a worst case weight of 1000 lbs.
