Default carb linkage- quadrajet vs. double pumper

Hello,
Not a mechanic so excuse my terminology. I have a 77 corvette auto and am replacing my quadrajet with a double pumper style carb(identical to 4150 holley) and am having trouble with the linkage. I tried a search but did not find what I was looking for. Can anyone explain how to convert the linkage for the double pumper style? The stock plate that bolts to the rear two carb bolts no longer fits because of the fuel bowl and the actual linkage on the side looks different.
Thank in advance.

the easiste way to do this is to buy the correct bracketry that fits under neath the carb so you have the correct mounting system.....give me moment and i will add some pictures to this

no need for all that. just get the lokar cable and bracket. the bracket goes over the back left carb stud and bolts down with the carb.
