Default Gauge lights don't work. Please help.

I have a 1970 Corvette and I'm having problems with the interior gauge lights. They don't turn on. I recently replaced the headlight switch and changed all the interior bulbs to leds, but that didn't work.

I was told to put a ground on the switch. Any other ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need tp pull the assemblies apart and check the circuit bords they are known to have small breaks in them.

Default Ground Wire

Did you check to make sure that the 'Harness Ground' (HARN GD) wire is connected to the drivers side hinge post?

The INST fuse must be hot when the light switch is pulled out and rotated counterclockwise , is it ?

(The headlight switch being grounded is for the interior lights but has nothing to do with the dash lights.)

O k...they worked before the switch and bulb change ???...try one of your old regular bulbs...led's are polarity sensitve, only work one way....(just a test)...add a ground wire to the metal part of the switch....(behind dash) hope your dash is open..then try lights....is the switch a repro from ecklers ??
