Default 700r4 trans?

I have a motor and trans out of what I thought was a 94 Z28 with an LT 1. I thought according to my Hayes Manual was a 4L60E trans. In acuallity it's a 93 Z28 which I think is a 700r4 trans. The trans has a 5 pin connector and a tv cable. I think the 4L60E trans has more wires on the trans connector and no tv cable?. Correct me if I'm wrong. If it is acually a 700r4 trans. I will install it in my 79 with a th350 in it. As I don't need the $500+ trans. controller for the 4L60E. I can afford to make this swap. Just a lock up switch. Also will the front yoke fit from th TH 350 to the 700r4 or do i need a different yoke. I believe I will have to cut about 3" off my TH350 to fit the 700r4? Oh I don't have the money to drop the whole LT1 and tranny right now....so just the tranny for now.. As always thank you in advance for all ya'll help.

i am doing the th350 to 700 r4 swap now also. the yoke fits and you need to have the drive shaft cut about 2.5 inches a new or modified xmember. and about that connecter mine has a 4 pin plugf but only 3 of the pins actually used. drop the pan and you should be able to tell

when i dropped the pan on mine this is what it looked like
