Default Removeing top dash pad on 1972

I removed the front screws what am I missing

Take the passenger side panel off ur going to also have to remove the window pillar moulding on both sides of windshield. after u have that done u should have a screw that goes from a bracket underdash to the dash, if it hasnt been removed in past. This is just to the right of the gauge assembly.
Assembly manual will show info

Hi e37,
72r's info is right on.
I'll only add to be very careful with the pad, especally if it's the original. Too much pulling or twisting can break or crack it quite easily.

Also don't forget the speaker wires, disconnect the terminals, before you lift it too high.

Wilcox has a nice instruction set for this.. Please check the stickys or search on it. You need to lift from the center in order for it to flex just enough for the corners to clear the pillars.

Just to add to this great advice, make sure the pad is not cold. The warmer it is the more flexible. Let it sit in the sun for a while if possible or pick a warm day to work on it.
