Thanks, funny you mention color I will post soon with some suggestions for paint and seek some suggestions but it will not be "proper. What it will have is the Owens Corning broken stripe down the middle from the hood but color combo's that I have looked at are all over, from the Blackwell Corvette with Monaco orange with Daytona yellow, to Torch red and black/white or silver, to Lemans blue with the white and red combo for the stripe or black with silver. Still not there but....

Ken the first GS I saw and rode in was a Sunoco Blue with a yellow hammer head stripe in NJ. It was built in New England and in Vette magazine. That is a very good option, thanks Ken

options along the theme of the following but not the hammer head scheme on the orange and yellow or the all out Owens Corning.

Are you thinking 3-color or 2-color? I think the 3 color is tougher to pull off without some type of graphic on the side to balance it out. With a 2 color, you could go high-contrast such as a dark primary color with a white, silver yellow, etc. stripe. Or, you could go super subtle and do something like a black finish with a flat black stripe. Or a nice dark grey with black stripe. You could even do the stripe in vinyl to change the look when desired.

Thanks it will most likely be a two color paint scheme. Another color that I really like is the 2014/2015 Camaro and Corvette I think its called red crystal tint, it is a cross between red and maroon.

crafting a hand build car is a labor of love

Weather has been a killer but the body is ready for paint. I am getting the brakes plumbed and the fuel system and lines are good for now, I will finish them when the body goes on the car. I hope to have the body on next week and in the paint shop NLT the first week of April.

Pretty cool build and really cool to see replies over the years going from purists with panties in a knot to no jeers at all just praises...
But I got really lost why a person can't build what they want from what they want...oh well thats a them problem.
On your build do you have a big race style battery kill switch?
