thoughts on dual magnflow exhuast or OBX side pipe exhaust


which would be better or is it just preference thing?

I prefer duals, imo sidepipes are only for being loud, and if you want top end performance.

I have a 79 L-82. I installed a true dual exhaust I bought from Corvette Central. It fit well, runs good, and sounds good.

I did not want the trouble of going to headers so I installed a Mangnaflow system in my 73 similar to what you could use.

Very nice sound without making me deaf.
I modified the tips to fit my 73 instaed of the turn-down tips the system came with.

i have the side mount headers and love them. i had them on a couple corvettes in the past and i have them again now. as long as you put anti seize on the extension tube muffler changes are pretty easy , don't even need to lift the car.
