Default Recommendation for fan clutch replacement

It's time to replace the fan clutch on my 1972 350 (base engine) with A/C. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good replacement?

Hayden makes a pretty good replacement thermal fan clutch as well. One thing to consider is that there are essentially three versions of the typical thermal fan clutch; Standard Duty - turns the fan at 60-70% of shaft speed when engaged, Heavy Duty - turns the fan at 70-90% of shaft speed when engaged, and Severe Duty - turns the fan at 80-90% of shaft speed when engaged.

There's some pretty good info here regarding thermal fan clutches that you may find helpful regardless of the brand or vendor you purchase from.

Heavy duty is the way to go with AC. From what I've heard You can also cross reference Chevy trucks for that year also but I never needed to do it.
