Default L48 Engine Vortec Heads Pushrod Question

I need to know if 1976 L48 pushrods are ok for use with 062 vortec heads or should I seek out some pushrods that came with vortec heads?

Looking in the Chevrolet Performance Parts Catalog they list only two pushrods for flat tappet usage, standard length and .1 longer.

Thanks alot! I have a recent rebuild (before I bought the car) and I'm just going with swapping the heads, intake, and some Hooker headers with free flowing exhaust for now. I know I should swap the cam but I'm not at this time. Did you guys do a cam swap when you swapped the heads? If not, was there a noticable performance boost?

While you have it apart I would check the cam, if stock L48 replace it, there are better cams than that one
