Anyone Have Vortec Valve Guide/Spring Cutting Tools?
I need to modify my Vortec heads so I can run a high lift cam. Don't want to spend $150 on tools I will only use once. But I would be willing to pay rental fee and a deposit if someone will loan them to me. I need:

Have you considered using stepped spring retainers? I don't have a part number but you can search for them as well as I can. I believe Comp Cams sells them. A pit easier than cutting the guides.
