Default 1968 T6 Turbo Install

Trying to be different isn't always easy. We were pretty clueless on how a Turbo works on the first install. Growing up is admitting your mistakes. We think we got this figured out the second time around. Only requiring a high rise hood and fender well modification, I can turn any early C3 corvette into a single T6 turbocharged demon. If enough people are interested in the single turbo setup, I can make up some brackets.
I haven't see a Turbo setup like mine. Please check this out.
Tell me what your guys think. Honestly.

Looks like you guys are having fun.
That turbo mount bracket concerns me a bit. Looks to be on the thin side. I would be very worried that it might break.

I have a big gale banks system on my 4 valve Cummins. The turbo is supported by the exhaust and to a lesser extent the output to the intake manifold side.

The real problem began when you are actually producing the massive amounts of tq. First off my transmission blew up and it takes $6000 to modify it to take on the power. The next thing that blew up was my one ton reared.

That is the same problem with this build

Interesting.....I took a different approach with two smaller turbos. This is a C2....I would think a C3 would be similar but I haven't tried.

I built brackets and attached them to the frame where they tucked into the "gill" area on each side. No fenderwell cutting, can grab all the spark plugs with ease, pull valve covers after undoing a couple of clamps and removing intake pipe. In fact...that is on my to-do list in the future...I want to route those pipes behind the heads by firewall so engine is "open" visually.

Have you had it on the road/track yet?

I bet it scoots...boost is some neat stuff!!
