Your headlight switch's **** MAY be rotated all the way to the right (clockwise) which would dim your instrument lights so much they aren't glowing at all. Try turning your headlight **** counterclockwise and see if your instrument lights come back on.

Hi Claudio,
It might well be the headlamp switch as NTO described... if it's the fuse, it would be the one you numbered #7.

Thanks Alan,
Great info, I will see it tomorrow, now it's heavy snowing in Belgium, so I can not go to my Corvette at this moment.
Best Regards.

Make sure when you check the fuse to also test the passenger side terminal for power. It's possible the terminal is corroded and not passing current. While the fuse can test good, the corrosion can prevent it from working.

Here is a picture on how the system works, it may help you diagnosis your issue.

Hi, I really appreciate your answers. Does anyone know where the other fuses are for? 2nd question: what is the ideal tire pressure, front and rear? (Stock tires Goodyear Radial GT) You help me a lot.

Why is this diagram showing and ECM fuse and a Choke Heater fuse for a 1976?

Its just a clear picture from the internet.
Choke and ECM are not necessary.

If needed, here is a picture of the factory 1976 fuse panel.
