Default Hilborn style EFI

For all those that are interested I found some hilborn fuel injection that runs off the accel computer and CAL-MAP software

http://www.blowerdriveservice.com/new.htm

Just thought it was neat anyway. Maybe if I ever go EFI this is how I am gonna do it. Originality and style.

I guess that is just a conversion kit to make it EFI from mechanical.

I did a google search and found another one for 5K for a small block

and 5.3K for a big block

That would look really cool of Street Rods, don't know how it would look on a Vette. I guess I'd have to see it in person, very cool and nostalgic. :yesnod:

I considered that style setup for EFI befpre buying my current EFI intake. You can find the old Hilborn's on E-bay for a pretty good deal sometimes. The only issue I found was that it would take some creative thinking on an air filter to keep from sucking debris into your engine (look at your current filter  ) .

Good idea on EBAY -- it will still be a couple of grand question but not 5K for something really neat.

Still too rich for my wallet. No, I'm going to be carbed for a while ;)

1st, credit cards, then bike loan, then car loan. Then I get a Vette loan and start all over again :jester

FWIW, I picked up a Crossram EFI manifold a few years ago from Mike Moran. A buddy of his used it on a turbo'd boat engine. It was only $1200. I found it on a for sale board at a drag race web site. I don't know how to post pics. If someone could post them for me, I'll email them to you.
