14x3 and using the Xtreme lid (slightly taller at the very top point).

If a 5" tall filter will fit, I'm not sure if it will do any good. The closer you get to the hood the less airflow there is. 69 NOX RATT makes some good points in another thread on this topic re: RPM Air-Gap intakes with L88 hoods.

i have the ugly edlebrock 360 degree one. so its like 10" by 3" or something stupid. i want to the the xtream one, but im cheap :D
