Nice job on the seats. I think that this is one of the best areas to make your Vette look new. They take up so much of the interior space that it is so noticable. New seats just seem to get noticed first.

I noticed your seats dont have the metalic insert accross the top. mine don't either. I'm very sure mine were recovered prior to my ownership. mine are also leather. were any years sent out from the factory without that metal insert or is it just something most guys leave off on a recover?

Dunno. When I got the car they were done already - but in Brown leather and it looked terrible. The carpet and the dash face were bucksikin color, but they had done the seats in dark brn leather and painted the dash top to match. Made the car look like a patchwork quilt inside.

Now it will be all buckskin color with new carpet and new leather seats! And a new dash topper.
