ive got a 69' 427/400hp tripower convertible[numbers matching][factory p/s-p/b,auto and sidepipe car],just needs primer/paint,frame/drivetrain done,everything to NCRS level,but in its cond its 10+ times what you want to spend

Hi Mark,
Even though you're not looking for a car with it's engine and transmission, I'll still caution you to buy as complete a car as possible.
For a convertible that's not overly rusty and in the years you mention, and in that price range, the car is often incomplete.
It can be a hassle and costly to determine what you need, find it, and pay for it. Often the parts missing are the expensive parts. Exterior bumpers, grills, wiper and headlight parts, interior soft parts, gauges, and glass.
