Default FS: 1979 Corvette Modded (OH)

1979 Corvette

Built 1979 Corvette. Drivetrain recently rebuilt, manual transmission dropped in (originally automatic). No accidents, clean title. Recently painted. Details on request.

I do not have an exact mileage since rebuild but it is under 5000 miles (see bad, speedometer does not work).

-383 stroker made from 70's 350 four bolt main block (line bored 0.030 over)
-10:1 compression ratio
-Melling oil pump
-Summit double roller timing chain
-T5 transmission with 28 spline outshaft
-Forged summit crankshaft
-Clevite bearings
-Scat rods
-Keith black piston
-Fully ported and polished camel hump heads with summit race valves
-Edelbrock intake ported to match
-Petronix flamethrower distributor
-Electric fan with four core radiator
-New front suspension
-New engine mounts
-New steering gear box
-Full length headers to true duals
-New headlight canisters
-New carpet
-Hydraulic clutch kit
-Line lock installed and set up (note: wiring disconnected, would need to be reattached to switch)
-New battery (installed in last two months)
-Speaker bar installed in rear
-New professional paint job, fiberglass repairs ($6k value)

Bad:
-Speedometer does not work (tachometer does)
-Analog clock does not work
-Interior could use some work
-Line lock system disconnected (I found the current button location to be too close to the shifter and unplugged it. Can be reattached by lifting center console.)
-Small chip in windshield (has not grown in past three years)
-Power locks disconnected/non-working

Located in Stow, OH. $8700 OBO, cash only

What's yer reason for selling?
How's the rust on frame & bird cage?
Have maint. records....for how far back?
What ELSE does it need other than what you've indicated?
How far "gone" is the interior?
I know you say speedo doesn't work....but what is total mileage on the car itself?
Do you have any way of verifying the mileage at all?

Will upload pictures of the typical places to check later this week. I do not have maintenance records. The previous owner installed all the new systems within 2000 miles of me buying it (based on his word). Since then I have probably added 2-3k more. As far as driveability it does not need anything else, however, depending on your tastes and preferences you may want to work on the interior. I will get photos of the interior as well. The odometer reads in the low 40's but I would not trust that. I checked the box for exceeds mechanical limits when I titled it. No verification of miles on the frame.

edit: The reason I am selling is because I do not drive it enough to justify insurance and renting a garage year round. In Ohio the weather only gives me a small window where I can actually take it out. No mechanical issues that I have noticed.

Guys, multiple moderators have removed a couple of posts here that have gone past asking normal questions into badgering the seller. If you are not satisfied with an answer or have comments about the car sale, please contact the seller by PM rather than making posts that do not advance the sale. thanks.
