My honest opinion, KBB and NADA are worthless. The Corvette is more than a normal car and commands a different value than other cars of the same vintage.

But I will tell you this, it will probably be worth less than you want it to be.

Get the info online buddy - google NADA - you don't need a hard copy.

I don't know what all these other guys are thinking. The best way of finding the fair market value any car is go to Ebay. Select completed item. Then type in 1984 Corvette. This will give you the exact price of what people are willing to pay.

This is a joke,right?
Even if an 84 was listed in a kbb ,do you know how many kbbs there are? There's one for a dealership, one for the bank, one for insurance companies, and one for different parts of the country.

Who said anything about KBB? You need to read what I wrote.

I said "The best way of finding the fair market value any car is go to Ebay". Lets face it, it is the only place where supply and demand meet. All the prices people see in magizines make every Corvette way over priced. See the real prices at Ebay....

For what it's worth, the Dec. 06 Corvette Quarterly ran an article on C4 prices. I personally think they are a little high, but they listed Show-Ready (perfect) at $16,000, Good at $12,500, Average $8,200, needs TLC $3,500. Really, for $12,500 you can find a great '87 or '88.

No offence meant. It's just that I've sold stuff on Ebay and got way more than I personaly thought it was worth.Did I take the money?Of course.I feel that Ebay is by design a sellers market, not a buyers market.Sometimes people get wrapped up in the whole auction process and bid way more than than they might offer at the local car mart.Ebay throws an item out to the world ,it dosn't take into account what something is worth in your area.I just don't think Ebay is a good standard to go by,that's just my opinion, and we all know what opinions are, don't we?
