Default headlight motor woes continued

Hi guys,
now that I have installed my headlight motor in the car , it doesn't open, but it will shut.
Is there any type of timing or motor synch that I need to do?
Thanks for the help.
It's an 87

What year Vette? GM used two different motor designs during the C4 model run...

Time for a test light and a six-pack. Agent86 posted up a nice scan for you. Fortunately, those relays (which is my W.A.G.) are still available.
