18" wheels on a C4
Are there any adaptors or ill effects from going from 17" to 18" on my C4?
I'm looking at Chrome C5 wheels for my black 96 and was hoping to see some pics.
Thanks !!

These pix are about worn out, but I have Chevrolet Factory Z06 wheels from an '02 on mine. 17" front and 18" rear. Someday I swear I'm gonna get two more 18" for the front. Every once in awhile, I look at the rear and think it's a tad too large, but the feeling passes quickly, especially if I look at the front.
Best place to find em is Craigslist in your local area. I got all four of these with nearly new tires for $900. I've seen chrome sets without tires on Craigslist for $450. They may have been reproductions though. But that's a steal!

Edit: TPMS... No, my car did not have it. But if it did, then I would have had to remove the sensors from the other wheel/tire combo, and I'm not sure it would work with the other wheels, especially the 18". Not sure.
I just bolted these on. No trouble. The lug nuts and caps are from my '93 as well. No muss, no fuss. I noticed a HUGE difference in steering response and handling, but I was driving on a mixed set of Kumhos and Bridgestone tires that came with the car before I put these on. I believe the tires on there now are more performance oriented. Not sure how long they'll last, but they feel nice.

Ive got the 17/18 combo on mine and I LOVE it! The rim size does not effect anything if you compensate with the tire size. for example. My front tires side wall is SLIGHTLY larger in percentage to match the full diameter of the tires in the rear.
265/40/17 in the front and 295/35/18 in the rear.

I put a set of Y2K polished thin spokes on my 93, 17 x 8 1/2 front, 18 x 9 1/2 rear. The tires are Cooper 255/40/17 front, 275/35/18 rear. I think the handling is better, the front doesn't seem to grab road ruts as much. I replaced 275/40/17 all around.
