I just bolted a set of EMs to my 94 with no problems at all. I used the stand-offs supplied and two of the factory long bolts. No grinding for me, they fit perfectly. I did bend back my knock sensor shields just a pinch so they wouldn't touch. Also, you have to reverse the driver side motor mount bolt, but that was a cinch as well.

Jeff - your exhaust system looks awesome!

i just realized you are local (to me)! Definately would love to see them, hear them first hand. Not to mention checking out the EM's, since that seems to be the path i want to take as well.

The little I have driven my car with this exhaust, I love it. Nice, deep and throaty. No resonance even with my 396 and power. Definatly happy with the looks and sound.

I have magnaflow on my Lightning and love it on it as well.

Looks AWESOME Man...I'd love to hear a sound clip.........I just got my 16837 too.......Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you not get your Magnaflow #16837 from www.hottexhaust.com ??.......Reason I ask , is that Performance Peddler (who I have dealt with in the past, and just last week "tried" to get my Magnaflow 16837 from , said they "still to this date" have never received any of them in yet at any of their warehouses....they said that their expecting their first shipment the very last week this month(sept).........Anyway, when Performance peddler gets it in , their price is promised to be $542.40 (shipped anywhere in the lower 48 in the US).........But still, I think the best deal in town is at Hottexhaust.....with a lot of coupon searching online I got mine for $512.20 (shipped to my door).......They did not act overly happy about the coupon code I used , and said they thought that particular one was expired, but it worked on their checkout page and they let me use it(but now it's been forced into retirement, I checked after I got mine)........For others that are wanting this system at a good price also ($536.52 to be exact) shipped to your door...Just let me know and I'll post that particular coupon code for you (before they retire this one out, someone on the forum may as well benefit from it, ya know).........Also, For anyone interested in hearing the 16837 Magnaflow system with a longtube header, decent size solid roller cam, no Cat's, Ect....I will "also" be putting some sound clips up sometime in the next couple weeks on my car domain link here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2467023 ..............PS: This Magnaflow 16837 system has been out for months already and there's like nothing out there that I could find "video clip wise" aside from Magnaflow's yellow 96 Vette (with crappy cats choking it) to hear it on, LOL............Joe

Awesome Jeff. Who polishes your undercarrige? If it's not too crowded at Boudurant this December, maybe we can race for dinner or drinks or something (hopefully you'll miss a gear).

Awesome.

Keep in mind, I don't think that is the same system that I have. #16837 is for the LTx cars...the L98's use a different catback - and by your profile I see you have an '87.

Nope, got mine from performancepeddler

I knew they were available so I called Francisco @ PP and, although they were not in their system yet, he could get it direct shipped to me from Magnaflow...which he did.

Congrats on the great price!

Jeff

Default Resonance?

Jeff I seem to remember that you had a few previous posts on various cat backs that you have tried! Did you have a First Gen B&B at one point? I do remember that you had the earlier version of the LT Magnaflow. I had a Gen 1 B&B so I am extremely gun shy about the resonance issue. How is this new magnaflow? Talk to me!
