I am going to purchase some roller tip rockers for my 84 vette to go along with my soon to be renegade intake manifold. I have read claims of gains up to a 1/2 second with these on a crossfire 84 vette.

forum member xrcrx cut 1/2 second off his 1/4 mile and so did the guy with the 11.8 second crossfire in the GM high tech magazine article.

Installing roller tip rockers on an engine with 65,000 miles on it would I need to do anything else such as new springs or anything or just install them as is?

Are the roller tip rockers made by jegs any good or are they crap?
