does anyone know how to remove the center dash vents on an 88 ive been looking at it and toying around with it and dont want to break it
any help would be great

Its easy enough to take the whole center piece out. If you do it will be more obvious how to take the vents out 'cause you can see it betterfrom the back. I dont remember exactly how the do but do remember thinking that would be the best way. Its only a few screws and the whole thing comes out. The HVAC, DIC and radio are mounted to the IPC not the center piece.

yea i did that alreay. on talking about the vents them self. ive taken them out on many differnt cars and truck but these dont seem to want to pop out

I took mine out when I painted the panels, just don't remember exactly how I did it, but fuzzy memory says it was easy.

Look at the pivot points, should pop out in that area.

These things come out as one piece and then you can completely disassemble down to a bunch of parts.Theyre held in place at the pin points.Might want to take a picture before you blow them apart.
