DVR Alert: SPEED's Car Warriors to Feature the 1986 Corvette
This Wednesday night at 9:00 pm ET, SPEED's Car Warriors - the show that pits two shops in a 48 hour build-off - will feature two 1986 Corvettes. We got some advance photos of the cars from SPEED. Their C3 Corvette episode last year was one of the highest rated for the season and so we're hoping to help get the word out:

If you're on twitter, we'll be watching the show and tweeting with other Corvette enthusiasts during the show. We'll also be giving away three SPEED prize packs. Just use the #CarWarriors hash tag to follow along.

I wouldn't mind him either if it didn't seem to be a set up for him to profit off the loser's efforts.
Then again, it's a "reality" show, so I should probably leave my brain back on another channel.

Geez! Is that THE George Barris? He was one of my heroes when I was a kid, although I liked Big Daddy Ed Roth better. Barris built some really cool cars back in the early sixties. I'll DVR it just to see him again.

Oh Man! They're gonna butcher those vettes. I've been following the series from the very beginning and depending on who the builders are, those vettes may come out looking like Corvette Summer #2. But, it should be entertaining.

Will have to try and remember to watch the show. Thanks for the heads-up.

Well, I watched the episode yesterday and they did build some good looking vettes. It was funny to see them trying to squeeze those engines into the tiny engine bays. All in all, I think they did them justice.
PS: I'm usually in the C5 forum but I still love C4's so I hope you guys don't mind me hanging around.
