Default door panel

My driver side door panel appears to be missing clips because it is loose. I don't see any place for clips holes in the door. How do these panels stay in?

Their are ribs along the top of the panel that may be broken. Is that where it's loose?.

Hangs at the top and uses the plastic rivets on the bottom. Like hornet said, the ribs along the top of the panel are probably broken. There are a lot of posts here on that issue.

The plastic panels on my "new" '88 were both cracket; I repaired them with some fiberglass screen & JB Quick.

One panel has come loose again. The "fix" for it will be to get two "L" shaped metal pieces at the local hardware, cut down one leg to be just a little longer than the existing metal ribs along the door top and attach the "L"s to the top of the door. These project up just enough to keep the weak plastic panel from springing off.

My prior 35th had the "floppy ears" so I just rebuilt the visors; great winter project. This 35th has solid "ears" so I'm VERY careful when I move the visors so as to not break/crack the cardboard within.
