After looking at how they made the absolutely awesome Wheelskin steering wheel cover SO got me for my birthday, wrapped my crappy visors in leather scrap I got from Amazon.
Bought a few tools and some glue there for the same purpose.
I think it turned out pretty good for something I have no experience with at all.

Decided to go ahead and change out the instrument cluster to have a see able LDC unit in there. So far, so good. Tested and works great and bright. Now, putting it back together. Gonna need a mirror to see if I can find a place the relay fell from when was putting the steering column back up. Can;'t see how it just unplugged itself and fell out that easy unless it was just sitting up there.

Yesterday I finished wiring in a proper battery cutoff switch. Had it all done (250 amp switch along with cables) and while finishing adding guides for the cables, had the battery connector on the new cable come off. Apparently was not crimped on well so had to get a replacement end for it.
Works well, just disappointed in that aspect of it.

Water pump
Replaced the water pump on my 1995 LT1. Original Optispark still working. That was the thing that worried me the most.

New fuel pump on my 95 convertible. Had been chasing a slight miss/skip and a loss in power as well as a shaky idle. Put a pressure gauge on her yesterday and got a whopping 37psi and 30psi at idle. Needless to say, runs much better now!!
I do enjoy driving this old car!!

Actually yesterday happenings as it's 04:31 now. ;-) Finally found where the fallen relay goes. Yea! and the dash is all back together again. So, took it for a test ride and was neat t be able to see the speedometer. YES! Saw a car show happening in my city I had just heard of 12 hours earlier so went and had to park right next to a C6. Nice to compare them side by side. So all work is done for awhile as about all i really wanted to fix is done.

After all these I AM HAPPY

Replaced my broken Bose radio with a rebuilt Bose radio with an auxiliary input added. Didn't want to cut dash supports to do double din radio, and didn't like look of single din. Went in in no time and works great. Now to decide what's next on the to-do list..

Finally got a new set of tires and an alignment. Very rainy day but drove home on hi way and back twisty roads. What a difference! No vibration, better ride, handled well and road noise significantly better.
Next is a set of brakes and system flush.

Finalist 2020 C4 of the Year - Unmodified
Gremlin day.
Replacement MAF from Wells / Rockauto. 1mm too big for air filter, clearly not glued together well. One of the retaining slots is busted.
Decided to file the edges a bit. Removed air filter to check fitting, damn screws on top of the radiator doing the whirly bird. Got the caps off and looked, they won't hold well enough to put air filter back.
And to top off, it's 73 F out, the first warm day for a while. Did I mention I have an hour to sunset?
UPDATE: The Well MAF ain't the right MAF. Thanks Rockauto.....NOT!

Had significant surgery a few weeks back and was finally able to get out and enjoy the Vette. So I took my lovely bride on a cruise up in the edge of the mountains for 2 1/2 hrs of crusing on an absolutely beautiful fall day. Not much color in the trees though. Maybe still a little early in the areas we went.

Got my leather to cover the other visor today. Got the stainless fuel sender assembly I ordered also.
Quality looks decent. See if it works.
I learned quite a bit about ratings for fuel injection hose, and especially hose rated for immersion in gasoline. Ordered some of that to complete the install. (I think they make it out of platinum, cause it's like 2 bucks an inch.)
Got some Fosgate 5.25's for the front doors "used" (They're brand new) on amazon to complete the stereo install.
