Default Max Jax

Well, after much thought and research I finally pulled the trigger on a Max Jax lift and I love it..

Awesome.
I wish I had a garage to put a jack in.
Working in the driveway is no fun.

That is really nice. It would be perfect for me too.

I hesitated on getting one because I wasn't sure what (if anything) needs to be done to the garage floor for it to be a secure mounting. Did you have to reinforce the concrete or anything?

My slab is the minimum required 4" thick so I didn't have to do any reinforcement.

Sweet. Just don't lift with the hood open. What garage heat are you using?

Damn I'm also jealous. My problem is, not the money, but the room to fit one.

Here's my MaxJax install. I had to have new pads installed to support the posts as the concrete was only 2.5" thick and the specs called for 4".

I'm still using the small cart for the pump assembly and I'll be mounting it to a wall to keep from having to deal with the hydraulic hoses and connectors.

WFD and c4,

Congrats on the new lifts! If you have any questions regarding use of the lift, feel free to call the number on the lift and myself or one of the reps here will be happy to help. That being said, is that an original grand sport WFD?!?!?

About 5 months ago I actually purchased one and cancelled it the next day because I wasn't sure it would work given my ceiling height.

And I can open the garage door with the lift all the way up.

Can you tell me how far you have them spaced apart. Looks like you have to get that right to make sure the arms reach the jack points under the car. The arms dont extend correct?

The arms do extend. I am away until Sunday. I will get you the spacing when I get back.
